  1. Grandpa's music covers it all from the novice to the professional

Grandpa’s music is a wonderful place for friends who also gather together for a jam session every Tuesday from 10:30 a.m. til around 3:00 p.m. Grandpa has many of the instruments on hand and if you don’t see what you want, he can order it for you. He also has all the supplies you need so if you break a string or forget your capo he will be happy to sell you what you need right on the spot at a great price.

And what music store is complete without a music teacher. Joe Caverlee teaches music lessons at Grandpa’s music for guitar (electric or acoustic), fiddle, mandolin and bass (electric or stand up). He is awesome with all ages and tunes your lessons for your style of learning. If you want to learn country, bluegrass, gospel or even classical music, he is the teacher for you.

  4. It is a wonderful store! A gathering place for folks to come and sing every once in a while and to hear an awesome live performance from several great singers each month at Grandpa’s Opry! Grandpa has some good sounding instruments as well! I would definately recommend anyone to go and check it out for yourself!

  5. Local traditional country music

  7. Have always enjoyed the music at Grandpa’s Music in Westmoreland, TN. Live the older country & bluegrass music they have.

  8. The BEST traditional Bluegrass and Country Music in Middle Tennessee! Fun for the whole family!

  9. Music

No better place to go in Westmoreland to hear great bluegrass/country/ gospel music and fellowship with friends on a Saturday night at Grandpas Opry (only $5.00) . Also, if you need anything ‘musically’ ie. guitars, mandolins, or anything with strings OR related to music….Lyle Cook at Grandpas Music store, downtown Westmoreland, has it. Stop by during the day after 10:00 for coffee and chit chat as well. Tuesday for coffee and Jam session. You never know who will be there jamming! ??❤️???

  10. Friends, family, and music!

If you are in the market for new or used musical instruments, Grandpa’s is the place to go. He is so reasonable and fair on his prices. You don’t have to worry about if you are getting a great deal. I picked up my first guitar at age 4 and learned to put chords together at age 6. Since that time, I have been blessed to have played some fine instruments. Grandpa’s is truly second to none in providing quality guitars, mandolins , ect. I personally have bought or traded for over 50 guitars since he has been open. He goes out of his way to make people feel right at home, even if you just show up to say hello and get a break from the daily grime! There is something to be said about avoiding the big chain stores and supporting small local business. Lyle Cook and Ms Evelyn are model citizens and know how to treat people right.
