2nd Annual Car and Motorcycle Show
sponsored by the Westmoreland Chamber of Commerce.
September 13, 2008
The date is Saturday September 13 with a rain date of Sept 20th.
Registration is between 9:00 and 11:00 a.m. with judging between 11:00 and 3:00.
There are 21 car and truck classes and 14 motorcycle classes.
Car classes include Antique, Stock, Custom, Street Rods and Rat Rods.

The motorcycle classes include Stock, Customized, Choppers, Trikes and Metric.
Entry Fee $10.
Dash Plate for first 100 entries.

Westmoreland High School Class of 1988 Reunion
NEW DATE SET!!! October 17-18, 2008
The Westmoreland High School Class of 1988 is currently in the planning stages
of their 20-year class reunion. Any interested member of the class who wishes to
have input or help out with the reunion should contact Angie Borders Graves at
jasc@nctc.com or call at (615) 644-3769.
Cheryl Bradley Quaranda can be contacted at
cquaranda@yahoo.com or at (615) 715-3652. The date of the reunion has been
changed to Fri., Oct. 17 & Sat., Oct. 18. Friday night will include a brief
get-together before the home football game at 6:00 p.m., and Saturday night's
event will begin at 6:00 at Sycamore Springs in Bransford, Tejnnessee. We are
still having difficulty finding several class members, so if you can help, we
need your information! More detailed information will be mailed out
to those whose addresses we have.
WHS Class of 1999
We are in the planning stages of the Westmoreland High School class of 1999
reunion. We have set up a website at this address:

Donors Choose is a national, non-profit organization designed to help
teachers get needed supplies for their classrooms. Teachers submit
proposals to Donors Choose, and Donors Choose reviews the requests and
places them on their web site. At this point, any individual in the
world can search the database for proposals they would like to fund in
whole or in part.
Once the project is fully funded, Donors Choose ships the requested
supplies directly to the teacher. The teacher sends a thank-you
letter [through Donors Choose] to the donor who completed the funding on his/her proposal.
In addition, the teacher sends thank-you letters from each student along
with photos of the class using the donated supplies.
It's actually quite fun to see how this works!
Donors Choose has just opened their program to teachers in
Tennessee. We encourage teachers in Westmoreland and surrounding
areas to submit proposals to Donors Choose!
